Twilight
-Cover: White hands holding an apple-

Cover Symbolism:The fruit symbolizes that Edward is a forbidden fruit to Bella like the forbidden fruit was to Eve in the bible..


Title Symbolism:It is to reflect that Bella is going into a darker time in her life.



New moon
Cover:-a bleeding tulip-

Cover Symbolism:This cover apparently has no meaning as Meyer said due to the fact the publishers normally pick the covers. Although it can symbolize the fact Bella is suicidal in this book.

Title Symbolism: It represents the fact that Bella is in the darkest part of her life[Resulting because Edward left her]



Eclipse
Cover-A broken red ribbon-

Cover symbolism: This mainly symbolizes there is never a clean break. Obviously this is dealing with the fact that Bella is havign to chose between Edward and Jacob

Title Symbolism: An eclipse is when the moon blocks the sun. The sun signifies Jacob, the moon signifies Edward. This name mainly represents Bella's choice.

Note: out of all the covers this is the only one that has name and cover meaning that actually relate.



Breaking Dawn
Cover-chessboard with red and white pieces-

Cover symbolism: The chess board symbolizes Bella's life and journey. The red pawn symbolizes Bella as a human. The white piece represents her as a vampire. The total cover represents the fact she is becoming a vampire and moving up in the food chain so to speak.

Title Symbolism: The name Signifies that Bella is in the beginning of her new life of a vampire. Which is apparently better than her human life that has been stuck in the titles of "twilight", "new moon" and "eclipse" which were all dark.



Additional Ranting about each book:

Twilight:
This is a disgrace to the bible. Mixing religion with vampires. When vampires were thought to have existed the church was against them. Not part of them or for them. Good job Meyer! I guess this is why everyone thinks your god. Meyer has disgraced religion by placing the cover symbolism on Twilight. Which has gotten twilight fans to believe that this book is in fact the bible. And that She is in fact god. But if this was the bible She would have not written it if she was god, the disciples wrote the bible if I am correct. I don't see her fans writing this piece of rubbish.

And  if Edward is the "forbidden fruit" so to speak, isn't Bella supposed to bite him? I guess fruit bites back now.And What if the actually forbidden fruit of the bible turns out to be a apricot or something? The cover would be void...And people keep saying the hands on the cover are meant to represent Edwards. If you stare at the hands on the cover long enough, you can see they look female.


New Moon:
Although I haven't read this book yet, I can tell you it is pointless due to the cover and title symbolism.  Bella goes nuts because Edward[sparkly] left her because he felt he was too dangerous for her. So she goes suicidal and tries to hear his voice in her head. What a role model Bella is..-_- The girl purposely tries to harm herself just to hear Edwards voice in her head..And good job Sparkly!-_- leaving a whiny emotional girl alone because you are "dangerous". Fuck traveling just eat her already!


Eclipse:
Eh fuck this. The cover is about Bella having to chose between Edward and Jacob.If Bella is really this dumb to HAVE to choose between Edward and Jacob shes stupid. For one dating someone who wants to eat you is bad[[no pun intended..]] If anything Jacob would have been a better choice all in all because he doesn't seen like the type to kill her._. or bother her 57 times about how dangerous he could be e.e

Oh and digressing back to symbolism,  a new moon and a eclipse would be most unlikely to happen in the same night.


Breaking dawn:
._. The cover shows that Bella is going to become a vampire. But after reading the summery of this book.. Its horrifying to learn how..

Violent sex? A vampire baby? And Imprinting of Jacob by the vampire baby? the name Renessesme?  Umm what the fuck?  I've read the summery of this book..It makes no sense. And it also proves Meyer completely raped the Vampire genre. I'm going off topic about symbolism now.

If a vampire is dead and no blood is circulating [or oxygen for that matter],how the fuck do the sperm survive? Please give me a valid reason! bring some fucking science into this because IT IS NOT POSSIBLE! And another thing, I'm pretty sure Meyer brought in her own religion into this book, the Mormon naming stuff at least i think its a Mormon practice. You take the first names of both grandmother/father of the child and combine it and poof! You get a unique name. This is fucked up, especially because they call the baby "Nessie" poor mutant shouldn't-fuckin-exist girl is going to be made fun of her whole life.

And erm,  Jacob is a pedophile now? Wow, I thought necrophilia was bad enough for this series.. Now Jacob is going to date his friend..erm ex's--[[ I don't know what to define Bella and Jacobs relationship as due to the fact Ive only read the first book thus far]] --baby when the baby is a few years older? This is screwed up..
